Experiences at Vivruti
Vivruti offers a set of carefully designed experiences that introduce participants to space technology as complete, working systems.
The focus throughout is not on isolated activities, but on understanding how multiple parts come together to achieve a purpose.
Building: The WeMoSat Experience
Participants work in small teams to build a compact, working system inspired by real weather satellites. The emphasis is not on assembling a kit, but on understanding how individual subsystems interact.
Sensors, electronics, power, and communication links are explored in context, with discussions around why each element exists and how design choices affect overall system behaviour.
Receiving: Live Satellite Image Reception
Signals transmitted by operational weather satellites are captured and processed in real time, and converted into images of the Earth.
What participants see is not archived or downloaded data, but the result of a live end-to-end chain from satellite to ground.
Understanding: Space Exhibitions and Working Models
Curated exhibitions use physical models and working demonstrations to explain how satellites, launch vehicles, and ground systems function as integrated wholes.
Experiencing Launch: Amateur Rocket Demonstration
As part of selected exhibitions, a small amateur rocket launch is conducted using a simple sugar–potassium nitrate propellant. The launch provides a tangible demonstration of thrust, stability, and controlled energy release.
Conversing: Interactive Talks and Sessions
These sessions are guided by questions rather than slides, and often explore how engineers think, make decisions, and work within constraints on real projects.
